LEGAL NOTICE:These terms constitute a forensic-grade agreement between TaskVerified and all users. By using the verification engine, API, or managed workspace, you agree to these service parameters.

1. The Verification Service

TaskVerified provides deterministic verification infrastructure for digital work. We offer a dual-mode engine: Mode A provides processing-only API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) verification, and Mode B offers a managed visual workspace, annotation pipelines, and cloud storage. By using our platform, you acknowledge that TaskVerified acts solely as an objective verification protocol and system of record.

2. Headless API & MCP (Mode A) Usage Rules

Under Mode A, the API operates on a zero-retention model: file and text inputs are processed strictly in memory and discarded immediately upon response generation. You agree not to exceed our standard rate limits (1,000 requests per minute for public endpoints, and 10,000 requests per minute for authenticated endpoints, unless custom enterprise limits are agreed upon). Any attempts to flood, disrupt, or exploit the API will result in immediate termination of access.

3. Managed Platform & Sovereign Storage (Mode B)

Under Mode B, TaskVerified hosts your verification pipelines, annotation data, and assets. We support "Sovereign Storage" integrations, allowing you to archive verified files directly to your private Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. Once files are moved to your private cloud storage, TaskVerified disclaims all liability for data breaches, loss, or corruption occurring within your external environments.

4. Intellectual Property & Input Ownership

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to any text, files, code, or other assets you submit to the verification engine. TaskVerified claims no ownership over your submitted inputs or verified outputs. You grant TaskVerified a limited, non-exclusive license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of executing the requested verification rules.

5. The 119-Rule Forensic Engine

Organizations may configure rules from our 119-Rule Forensic Registry or define Custom Rules (Enterprise). Submissions are evaluated strictly against these objective, deterministic criteria. You acknowledge that TaskVerified verifies structural, syntactic, and stylistic compliance according to your active rule configuration, but does not guarantee the overall quality, commercial viability, or legal status of the verified output.

6. AI Detection & Contamination Intelligence

TaskVerified integrates third-party forensic partners (such as Winston AI) alongside our internal heuristic models to calculate AI authorship probability and plagiarism scores. Because AI authorship scoring is probabilistic, you acknowledge that these scans serve as aids for review and that TaskVerified does not guarantee their absolute accuracy or accept liability for false positives or false negatives.

7. Headless Time Tracking & Cryptographic Proof-of-Work

If you enable our headless web timers, the system collects interaction metadata (such as keyboard cadence and window focus events) to generate tamper-proof proof-of-work session logs. This system does not capture screen pixels or record actual text characters. You agree to obtain all necessary consents from your team members or contributors before enabling this telemetry.

8. Security & The Abuse Policy

Attempting to upload malware, bypass verification restrictions, exploit the API, or tamper with the audit trails will trigger our automated strike and security system:

[1]Strike 1: Immediate account flag, final warning, and temporary rate-limiting or upload restrictions.

[2]Strike 2: Permanent account termination. All active platform data is moved to a 90-day hibernation state before permanent purge.

9. Subscriptions & "Pay to Stay" Data Retention

Access to advanced rule sets, custom pipelines, and historical storage is subject to our active subscription tiers. We operate a tiered retention schedule:

[1]Active Subscribers: Full data preservation and access to historical logs and verification trails.

[2]Trial & Free Accounts: Inactive or cancelled trial accounts are subject to an automated 7-day data scrub following expiration.

[3]Lapsed Paid Accounts: Upon cancellation, storage enters a 90-day hibernation state. If no subscription is restored, the storage is purged, while audit logs are preserved for an additional 180 days for compliance.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TaskVerified is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the verification results will satisfy all external regulatory requirements, publishing guidelines, or accessibility standards, or that the service will be entirely uninterrupted. The final responsibility for publishing, deploying, or utilizing verified outputs rests solely with you.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal actions, disputes, or proceedings arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Varanasi, India.
